About your new Role! We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join the team on a 12-month contract with a view to permanency. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting system improvements while thriving in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Key responsibilities include: Month-end reporting including journals, accruals and prepayments Preparation and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, investigating variances Assisting with statutory reporting and year-end audit requirements Maintaining fixed asset registers and assisting with tax reporting Supporting ERP migration, UAT testing and process improvements Contributing to data integrity testing and continuous improvement initiatives Reviewing supplier payment runs and direct debit processes for accuracy and compliance Providing ad hoc analysis and support to the Financial Controller About You! CA/CPA qualified (or close to completion) 3-5 years’ experience as a Financial Accountant in a commercial environment Strong Excel skills and ERP system exposure Balance sheet reconciliation expertise and solid technical accounting knowledge Experience assisting with UAT or system implementations highly desirable Calm, collected and resilient, able to perform in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and stakeholder management skills What’s in it for You?
